Falahuddin Syed, DO was raised in the suburbs of Detroit. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and went on to complete his medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. He completed his preliminary year in Internal Medicine at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY and completed his specialty training in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Larkin Community Hospital in Hialeah, FL.
During his specialty training, Dr. Syed had the opportunity to work alongside various skilled Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine specialists with a focus on the neuromusculoskeletal system and osteopathic principles and philosophy. He developed a passion and goal to master palpatory skills to diagnose somatic dysfunctions as well as implement various osteopathic manipulative techniques to treat the whole body. Dr. Syed has also received training to utilize minimally invasive ultrasound-guided injections for pain relief.
With an emphasis on utilizing a hands-on approach for treatment and pain relief, Dr. Syed is committed to the concept of facilitating self-regulation and self-healing. He is currently providing care as a Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine specialist at various skilled nursing facilities.
