Dr. Kelsie Carrier is a dedicated osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal specialist, who places an emphasis on treating each patient as a whole, alleviating pain and improving function through osteopathic manipulation and individualized patient care. With an undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from the University of Central Florida, Dr. Carrier possesses a deep understanding of the biological sciences, laying the foundation for a career dedicated to integrated, patient-centered care.
Dr. Carrier earned her medical degree from the Georgia Campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), where a passion and commitment to the osteopathic philosophy of treating the whole person took shape. This holistic approach is implemented into Dr. Carrier’s work, emphasizing the interconnectedness of the body’s systems and the importance of natural healing.
Dr. Carrier completed her specialty training in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Larkin Community Hospital in Hialeah, Florida. Through rigorous training and hands-on experiences, her expertise allows Dr. Carrier to address each patient’s unique needs, empowering them to achieve better health and improved quality of life. In addition to expertise in osteopathic manipulation, Dr. Carrier is skilled in performing ultrasound-guided injections, a minimally invasive technique that enhances precision in treating musculoskeletal conditions and managing pain.
After completing residency training, Dr. Carrier has worked in outpatient office settings, rehab and skilled nursing facilities, using osteopathic manipulation to reduce pain and expedite recovery from a variety of conditions as well as post-operative patients. Dr. Carrier has also served as faculty at Larkin Community Hospital, helping to train and prepare medical students and resident physicians in her specialty.
